The Canadian Association of Professional Employees (CAPE) is asking the Treasury Board to include federal public sector unions in spending reduction consultations to avoid rushed decisions that could have dire consequences on federal employees’ ability to deliver services to Canadians.

Ahead of Public Service Pride Week, CAPE sat down with Jason Bett in his capacity as Champion, Public Service Pride Network (PSPN). In addition to his Champion role, Jason has recently taken on the role of the new Visiting Senior Advisor for 2SLGBTQIA+ Inclusion at the Canada School of Public Service.

With some federal employers beginning the work to establish their respective pay equity plans, the Canadian Association of Professional Employees (CAPE) hosted a two-day joint training session on July 18-19, 2023, designed and delivered by the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC) and the Association of Canadian Financial Officers (AFCO).
