Your CAPE local is your source for news and events most relevant to you, wherever you are in Canada. Each local has its own leadership team and advocates for members in its region and department. Your local should be the first place you turn to when you need assistance or for work-related questions and advice.
Find your local:
- National Capital Region locals Associated with a department and only includes members whose work location is in the Ottawa-Gatineau National Capital Region
- National locals Associated with an organization and all its members, regardless of work location
- Regional locals Associated with a region and all members working out of that region, regardless of department.
Get involved
- If you want to join a local, contact your local representative (see links above) or contact Julie Courty, Local Liaison Officer.
- If there is no local in your region or department and you wish to create one, contact Julie Courty, Local Liaison Officer.
- You can also become a steward, and this way you automatically become part of your local and play an active role in protecting and advancing the interests of all CAPE members.
