OPBO collective bargaining

The OPBO collective agreement applies to advisors, analysts and research assistants in the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer group. When Library of Parliament members were transferred to the Office of the Parliamentary Budgetary Officer, CAPE sought successor rights to represent them and was certified as their bargaining agent in 2018.

We negotiated and signed the first agreement in September 2019, covered under the Parliamentary Employment and Staff Relations Act. The current agreement will be in effect until September 20, 2021.

What’s in your collective agreement?
