It’s almost time: bargaining with Treasury Board and Translation Bureau management begins on October 21 and 22, 2026.
You gave a mandate to your Bargaining Committee. Now it's time to act and continue building the collective power you need to win what you need.
There will be several ways to participate on October 21 and 22, both online or in-person*. Use the registration forms to tell us how you'd like to participate.
*A limited number of in-person opportunities will be available. Union leave will be available for in-person participants on October 21. If you want to participate in-person, a member of the Organizing Committee will contact you with more information, walk you through what to expect, and confirm your participation.
The stakes are high, and your Collective Bargaining Committee is ready with clear proposals that address the major issues you face, whether it’s enshrining protections for telework, controlling the roll out of AI in your work lives, or ensuring production quotas are realistic and reasonable. But those proposals won't be won without your involvement in building power – contact the TR Organizing Committee now to do your part.
We are also launching a broader TR campaign to build public awareness and solidarity by showing how TR bargaining demands would benefit the millions of Canadians—especially francophones—who rely on your work to access federal services of equal quality in both official languages.
