Survey on CAPE’s Defence Fund and Collective Bargaining

We are asking for your participation in a survey being undertaken on CAPE’s Defence Fund and collective bargaining more generally.

The aims of this survey are twofold: The first is to better understand your views on the Defence Fund’s original terms of reference and any changes to the fund or its terms of reference. The second is to get a better understanding of members’ perspectives on collective bargaining including possible future strategies and potential challenges.

This research is being conducted in partial fulfilment of the member’s resolution on the Defence Fund put forward and approved by members following the 2022 Annual General Meeting.

For this project, we have enlisted Earnscliffe Strategies (Earnscliffe) to conduct an online survey. While we appreciate that your time is valuable, we would greatly appreciate if you would take the 15 minutes required to provide your perspective. To ensure that your views are included, please complete the survey by September 10, 2023.

Earnscliffe will report the findings on an aggregate basis only and will not attribute any results to an individual.

Some additional background on collective bargaining is available here for those seeking further information.
