The EC/ESS Bargaining Campaign Is Starting!

As a first step in the EC/ESS bargaining campaign this year, your EC/ESS Collective Bargaining Committee is in Open Bargaining Negotiation training this week! The focus is on consensus decision-making skills, how open bargaining works, and role-playing to practice and consolidate the learning in a real-life scenario. Your committee members will also work on planning, strategy and the development of proposals for negotiations.

Your EC/ESS Collective Bargaining Committee members stand in solidarity with Bank of Canada security officers. They are striking to push back on major concessions the employer is pushing at the bargaining table, including undermining seniority and rolling back maternity leave. These workers show up every day to protect Canada’s financial infrastructure and keep the Bank operational. They deserve a fair deal!

Picket lines run from 7 am to 2 pm on weekdays. Tell your MP: Call on the Bank of Canada to get back to bargaining.
