CAPE stands in solidarity with striking OPSEU members

CAPE stands in solidarity with the more than 10,000 striking fulltime support workers from Ontario’s public colleges.

On September 11, OPSEU members went on strike after their employer, the College Employer Council, walked away from the negotiating table.

These library technicians, registrar workers and technical support staff are fighting to ensure that students continue to have access to the critical services they provide. Funding cuts are expected to lead to mass layoffs and decreased student support. Austerity hurts us all.

CAPE stands behind these workers and the students they serve, and their push for the job security and proper funding they deserve. Find out how you can show your support for our OPSEU siblings
