CAPE stands in solidarity with Chalk River employees

CAPE stands firmly in support of the 800 striking PIPSC members in Chalk River, ON in their fight for a fair contract with Canadian Nuclear Laboratories.

The Chalk River Professional Employees Group (CRPEG) has been without a collective agreement for more than a year and deserve to be compensated fairly. These employees are responsible for keeping nuclear reactors safe, properly managing radioactive waste, and delivering vital environmental remediation projects. Their work is integral to protecting Canada’s public health, environment, and energy security.

CAPE and its 28,000 members stand with CRPEG workers in their fight for better wages, healthcare benefits, working conditions, and protections against contracting out.

Join us in standing in solidarity with the CRPEG and support their fight for justice and dignity!
