This session will focus on how equity issues can be translated into meaningful, measurable bargaining proposals. Members are invited to share their perspectives, experiences, and feedback to help inform the bargaining process. We encourage participation from members of all backgrounds and lived experiences, particularly visible minorities, Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, women, and 2SLGBTQIA+ members.

Mandatory equipment: To speak in the meeting, attendees must use an approved headset to speak at the forum. Please download our Online Interpreted Meetings Guidelines [PDF] which includes a list of approved headsets and microphones. If you do not have one, CAPE will reimburse your purchase of LOGITECH H111 (3.5 mm; not USB) upon submission of your receipt to Payables@acep-cape.ca Cellphones, earbuds, or wireless headsets are not approved for speaking due to the health and safety risks the sound can pose to the interpreters. It must be wired headsets with built-in microphone and wired USB connection or a table microphone. CAPE, the technicians, and the interpreters reserve the right to cut off microphones or not interpret should the sound not be of adequate quality in order to protect the health and safety of interpreters.

Members who are unable to use a headset are welcome to participate through the chat function, which will remain open throughout the event.

Your participation and feedback are invaluable, and we look forward to having you join the discussion.
