July 6 RTO Event at PMO’s Office and Online Day of Action

Jul 6, 2026
Hybrid:
Prime Minister’s Office • Corner of Wellington Street and Elgin Street, Ottawa
and online
Remote work saves money. RTO spends it.

The Carney government says RTO is about work. CAPE’s evidence points to a $10 billion handout for Big Banks.

On Monday, July 6, the first day of RTO4, join CAPE members and President Nathan Prier in-person or online for the launch of our new RTO campaign demanding that Carney come clean about his illogical, expensive return-to-office policy.

Based on the evidence trail CAPE National is uncovering, we believe RTO is a handout to four record-profit Big Banks — CIBC, National Bank, BMO, and RBC — to help protect them from roughly a combined $10B in bank office exposure tied to risky commercial real estate bets. More information about CAPE’s new RTO campaign will be released on July 6.
