Building for the Future
The theme of our AGM this year is “Building for the Future” which reflects our desire to build an association that is more resilient, adaptable, able to pivot at any given time, and ready to take on the challenges of today and of the future to better serve our members.
It also speaks to the driving force behind the efforts we have deployed in recent years to strengthen our foundations. We examined our operations and financial situation, and listened to our national and local leaders, volunteers and other members. We also re-evaluated our priorities, brought fixes and stability where needed, and are now shifting our attention to our level of readiness for the future.
As usual, the AGM will be an opportunity to look back on the challenges and successes of the year, and to recognize the hard work of all our leaders and volunteers who continue to work tirelessly to support you and to defend and protect your rights.
We will also go over general matters, including the President's review, the budget and the presentation of resolutions.
Exceptionally this year, given the critical importance of the mandatory vaccination policy and the dues increase, time will be set aside to provide more clarity over our position on these respective issues.
We hope you can all join us and take part in the discussions!

Ms. Manatch is a member of the Algonquins of Barriere Lake and a Knowledge Keeper. She will open our AGM again this year with a blessing.

Please indicate AGM 2021 Question in the subject line. Questions emailed in advance will be given priority at the night of the AGM.
Questions will also be taken from the ‘virtual’ floor during the AGM by using the same email address, and we will do our best to go through them in real time, if time permits.
Voting period from November 12 to 25
It is not necessary to attend the AGM to vote, but it is strongly recommended if you wish to receive more information that could help inform your vote.
You will receive the questions to vote on the morning of November 12.
