Remembering the 2017 Attack on the Quebec City Mosque

Today marks the third anniversary of the deadly attack on the Quebec City mosque.

CAPE denounces these hate crimes and believes that everyone should be able to practice their religion in a safe environment.

On this day, our hearts go out to the injured, and the families and friends of the victims who lost their lives, taking this moment to honour their memory.

At the same time, we would like to reaffirm our support for the Islamic community in Canada, which is part of the broad Canadian family.

We will continue to actively advocate for religious freedom and support any actions, initiatives and measures to end all forms of racism and racial discrimination in society and in the workplace.
