CAPE is honoured to represent 24,000 federal public sector members, and I want to take the opportunity of National Public Service Week to invite everyone to join us in celebrating and recognizing your hard work.
Public sector employees are an invaluable part of our society, working tirelessly – often behind the scenes – for all Canadians. They share an innate responsibility to the country’s people, which drives them to deliver their best work, ensuring everyone can benefit from programs and services designed to support or improve their quality of life.
CAPE staff and the National Executive Committee – elected by you – are working hard to support you in your labour rights every day. We are in the midst of securing a new collective agreement for EC and TR members, are working with more and more Indigenous and equity-deserving groups to ensure their communities and voices are heard and are continuing our efforts to encourage more engagement in this Association for all members from coast to coast to coast.
