We would like to share with you a quick update since the last one in December. CAPE met with the Employer for a mediation session on February 3. The parties were able to discuss and agree on a few outstanding issues.
Key issues, such as telework, compensation and the right to disconnect, remain outstanding and will be addressed at interest arbitration.
The three-member arbitration board has been established and the hearing before the arbitration board will proceed on June 19, 2023.
We will keep our EC members updated as this process unfolds.
