Please join members of the National Executive Committee along with Defend Choice and Planned Parenthood Ottawa on Parliament Hill May 9th at 12pm EST to demonstrate the right to reproductive rights and bodily autonomy.
On May 9, federally and provincially elected members of parliament will join far right groups in downtown Ottawa as they fight to criminalize abortion in Canada. While abortion is health care, and a recognized right in Canada, we are witnessing in the United States how quickly the right to bodily autonomy can be taken. We must join to demonstrate to Canadian politicians that we will not allow this right to be taken from us.
We at CAPE support individuals' right to choose what to do with their bodies, and as such will stand with those counter-protesting this year's demonstration.
