The Employment and Benefits Defence Sub-Committee is responsible for working with the National Executive Committee (NEC) to protect and defend members' employment and benefits.
More specifically, the Sub-Committee will be paying special attention to how the government will propose to balance the budget in view of economic recovery, and on how it could impact federal public sector employees, that is, how or whether it could affect pensions, wages, hiring, and automation, among other employment conditions and benefits.
