CAPE and Treasury Board Sign New EC and TR Collective Agreements
The Canadian Association of Professional Employees (CAPE) and the Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) have signed the new collective agreements for the Economic and Social Science Services (EC) group and the Translation (TR) group.

Members of the Canadian Association of Professional Employees (CAPE) belonging to the Translation (TR) bargaining unit, have voted in favour of ratifying the tentative agreement that was reached with the Treasury Board Secretariat in May.

CAPE reaches tentative agreement for TR members with Treasury Board
The Canadian Association of Professional Employees (CAPE) announced today that a tentative agreement has been reached with the Treasury Board Secretariat for the Translation group, also known in the federal public sector as the TR group.
TR Bargaining – A never-ending round
The TR bargaining team met again with the Employer and the mediator on March 21, 22 and 23. The tone was civil, and the Employer submitted updated versions of its offers on the two remaining contentious issues: remote simultaneous interpretation and wages.
TR Negotiations: A New Tone in 2023?
As mentioned in our previous message, we met with the Employer and the mediator on February 7 and 8, and for an additional half day on the 9th.
