Update on the Policy Grievance Regarding a Competitive Process at HRSDC

January 08, 2013 This grievance addresses the fact that the employer undertook a competitive process at Human Resources and Skills Development Canada that is in violation of the letter and spirit of provisions of the Work Force Adjustment Directive. The hearing before the Public Service Labour Relations Board on this matter began on December 17 through to December 19, 2012. Another hearing date has been scheduled for February 8, 2013 to conclude the hearing. The final witness for HRSDC will testify followed by closing arguments.
