Complaint against Treasury Board: CAPE pledges solidarity with other bargaining agents

July 22, 2014

CAPE is part of a united front of 17 bargaining agents who believe that discussions surrounding sick leave in the federal public service must be held at the bargaining table.

Last week, the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC) announced that they had each filed a formal complaint against Treasury Board with the Public Service Labour Relations Board (PSLRB). These complaints concern bad faith bargaining, interference and violations of the Public Service Labour Relations Act (PSLRA). CAPE supports the measures taken by the bargaining agents to ensure compliance with the PSLRA, and we will be keeping a close eye on the progress of these complaints.

Rest assured that we will update you on any relevant developments in this file.
