CAPE Membership Votes Yes on Financial Ballot

The CAPE membership voted in favour of the two proposed budgets (2013 – 2014 and 2014 – 2015), the audited financial statements and the National Executive Committee’s recommendation that the firm of WGP C.A. be the Association’s auditor for the fiscal year ending 2014.

“With the dues vote behind us, and these two budgets approved, CAPE can now focus on what really matters – the rights of our members,” said CAPE President Claude Poirier.

The detailed results are as follows:

Question 1:

Be it resolved to accept the audited financial statements prepared by WPG. C.A.

In Favour: 488 (93%)
Against: 24 (5%)
No Response: 10 (2%)

Question 2:

Be it resolved to accept the National Executive Committee’s recommendation that the firm of WPG C.A. be the Association’s auditor for the fiscal year ending 2014.

In Favour: 482 (92%)
Against: 31 (6%)
No Response: 9 (2%)

Question 3:

Be it resolved to accept the proposed two budgets for fiscal years ending 2014 and 2015, as prepared by management, reviewed by the Finance Committee and recommended by the National Executive Committee.

In Favour: 434 (83%)
Against: 83 (16%)
No Response: 5 (1%)
