Call for volunteers for CAPE CommitteesNovember 13, 2014
All Regular and Pending Members may volunteer and be eligible for membership on any Committee established by the Association or the National Executive Committee (NEC) except where membership is restricted to National Executive Committee members.
Please note that calls for volunteers for the Collective Bargaining Committee are issued by the Chief Negotiator six months prior to the expiration of the relevant Collective Agreement.
If you would like to assume an active role in the Canadian Association of Professional Employee’s operations, and learn more about the role and relevancy of bargaining agents in today’s labour relations environment, volunteer for one of the CAPE Committees. You will find it a rewarding and enlightening experience.
To volunteer for one or more CAPE Committee please complete the CAPE Volunteering for CAPE Committees form.
These forms will be provided to the NEC, which has the authority to appoint volunteers to CAPE Committees. After reviewing the forms, the NEC will decide upon the composition of the Committees. The CAPE President will advise the successful volunteers of their appointment to the various committees.
For information on the various Committees, please visit the committees section on the website. For further information, please feel free to contact the Chairs of the various Committees.
