The CAPE Elections Committee has announced the candidates for the National Executive Committee

Election ballots were mailed out to the CAPE membership in early November, along with materials regarding the Annual General Meeting. Candidates were afforded the opportunity to address the Annual General Meeting.

The CAPE Elections Committee has announced the candidates for the National Executive Committee.

This year all positions on the National Executive Committee were to be elected to fulfill two-year terms, subject to Article 17.5 of the Constitution which requires that “up to half of the Director positions within a bargaining unit may be for a period of one year”. The terms of office commence on January 1, 2005.

The EC Directors' positions have been filled by acclamation. The terms of office will be determined using a random method.

One of two TR Directors' positions was filled by acclamation by André Picotte.
