Results of the ballots issued to members in November of this year have been tallied. Members were asked to vote on 7 different matters. What follows are the results.

The dues increase was approved, with a vote of:

80% in favour
20% opposed

The CAPE audited financial statements were approved, with a vote of:

98% in favour
2% opposed

The two year Budget was approved, with a vote of:

87% in favour
13% opposed

The recommendation that Thomas Foran C.A. be the Associations auditor for the fiscal year 2005/2006 was approved, with a vote of:

96% in favour
4% opposed

The CAPE By-Law # 5 amendment was approved, with a vote of:

93% in favour
7% opposed

The Constitutional Amendment was not approved*, with a vote of:

56% in favour
44% opposed

(* Pursuant to the CAPE Constitution, a vote of 66% is required in order to amend the constitution (Article 26.6).

Four new EC Directors were elected to the National Executive.

They are:

Julienne Patterson of Statistics Canada
Clayton Therrien of Statistics Canada
Michael Zinck of Veterans Affairs
