CAPE Re-Elects José Aggrey to Position of PresidentDecember 13, 2006
The results of the vote have been tallied. The members have re-elected José Aggrey to serve another two year term as President. Mr. Aggrey was first elected to the position of President in December 2004. The results of the Presidential vote, in descending order, are:
José Aggrey 25.19%
Clayton Therrien 22.64%
Richard Oslund 22.21%
Derek Brackley 21.36%
Kevin Workman 8.6%
Elections were also held for 5 EC Directors’ positions. The results are as follows:
Ghislain Dussault 65.8%
Marcy Holyk 65.3 %
Maurice Korol 68.0%
Robert McVicar 53.4%
Anna Sipos 70.2%
Stan Spak 49.4 %
The first five candidates have been elected to serve as EC Directors for two year terms.
In addition to the elections, CAPE members were asked to vote on the approval of the audited financial statements prepared by Thomas Foran, The members voted in favour of this.
In Favour: 97.2%
The members were asked to approve Thomas Foran as the Association’s auditor for the fiscal year 2006/2007. The members voted in favour of this.
In Favour: 94.3%
The members were asked to approve the proposed budget. The members voted in favour of two year budget.
In Favour: 82.8 %
The members were asked to approve amendments to CAPE By-Law #3. The members voted in favour of the proposed amendments.
In Favour: 94.8%
The members were asked to approve constitutional amendments. The members voted in favour the proposed amendments.

Pursuant to Article 26.6 of the CAPE Constitution, the Constitution shall only be amended by a two thirds majority of the votes cast.
