Public Services and Procurement Canada has sent a Call to Action that seeks to enhance the government's capacity to process and resolve public service pay issues, including due to the expected peak of activity related to calculating retroactive payments related to the new collective agreements across the public sector – by recruiting interested current or former public servants for at-level assignments.
This follows extensive request by CAPE and other bargaining agents to increase the staff dedicated to solve Phoenix-related problems.
