What should I do if I disagree with the contents of my performance assessment?

All three collective agreements contain provisions to the effect that employees are entitled to attach their own written comments, and therefore their version of events, to the performance review forms prepared by the employer.

It is important to avail yourself of this right, not just to present your position but also to allow future managers to familiarize themselves with your views (Article 28.02(c) of the LoP Agreement, Article 23.01 of the EC Agreement, and Article 23.01 of the TR Agreement).

Other remedies (e.g., grievance, legal complaint) may also be available in cases where a collective agreement is violated, or in cases of discrimination or bad faith..
