National Executive Committee
The National Executive Committee is the democratically-elected body that governs our association. NEC members establish our objectives and policies. It comprises the president, two vice-presidents (one for ECs and LoP and one for TRs), and 15 directors.
NEC members are elected by the membership every three years, with the occasional by-election as vacancies arise. You can find the complete list of NEC members, their coordinates and biographies by clicking here.
The NEC meets monthly, except for the months of July, August and December.

As a democratic organization, we are accountable to the membership. In the interest of transparency, all meeting minutes are published on our website. Please note that minutes can only be published once approved by the NEC and translated; therefore, there can be some delay between the conclusion of a meeting and its minutes appearing online.
NEC members also chair and participate on various sub-committees that oversee important areas of interest and larger projects. These sub-committees are often a great way for members to get involved in their union. If you would like to volunteer to sit on any of these sub-committees, or if you want to find out more about each committee, visit the sub-committees' page.
