EC Bargaining Update
January 27, 2012
CAPE received notice from the Public Service Labour Relations Board (PSLRB) on January 17 that the Board is proceeding with the establishment of a three-member arbitration board further to a request from CAPE. EC Bargaining Update
January 18, 2012
CAPE filed for arbitration on December 14. As required it provided the Public Service Labour Relations Board (PSLRB) a list of outstanding issues brought to the table by CAPE, the language of the proposals, and a description of bargaining that occurred during the current round. EC Bargaining Update

In spite of attempts by CAPE to come to a negotiated settlement, Treasury Board set conditions at the bargaining table that made it impossible to truly negotiate. EC Bargaining Update

The parties met at the table on November 22, 23 and 24. CAPE tabled a comprehensive, evidence-based pay proposal on November 22 and devoted the entire day to presenting its rationale. EC Bargaining Update

The parties met at the table on October 11, 12 and 13 to begin negotiating proposals explained on September 1st. There was agreement on a handful of editorial changes that do not impact entitlements or rights. EC Bargaining Update
