To TR members: A Call

This year, CAPE used a new procedure to call for volunteers for the negotiating committee for the TR Group collective agreement. Three positions still remain vacant. The negotiating committee has decided, exceptionally, to make a second call for volunteers. The committee asks TR members of CAPE who are interested in joining the committee to express their interest.
Volunteers must submit their reasons for wanting to be a member of the collective agreement negotiating committee. The expression of interest as well as its reasons must be received by the national office (send to the attention of Sylvie Richard – srichard@acep-cape.ca) no later than 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2004.
The names of the volunteers will be submitted to the National Executive Committee for approval, pursuant to the criteria contained in Paragraph R7.1.2 of the By-Laws.
Local leaders and stewards are asked to convey the information about the second call for volunteers to the TR members they represent.
The memorandum that you are reading will be posted on the CAPE web site no later than December 3, 2004.
