Even Managers Can Be Paid Overtime, at least as long as these TRs are not yet excluded that is (in an acting appointment for example). We have been told however that issue 44 of the "Running a Tight FIP" Bulletin says the opposite. This is clearly in violation of the Collective agreement and we have asked management to issue the necessary correction. In the mean time, make sure you claim overtime even if you are told erroneously you can't get it because you are replacing a manager (also ask that previous instances where overtime was denied be paid too).
