Candidacy letters have been received from people seeking positions on CAPE's new Translation Bureau Local Executive. The Elections Chair is now preparing the elections documents which will be mailed to members next week announcing who was acclaimed, which positions will require a ballot and the provisions for the elections process and calendar. He is also setting up the electronic forum which will be used on this very Web site to stimulate the elections debate. This forum will be activated once documents are mailed to members. Ballots will be counted around October 24. The Chair has asked Michèle Plamondon from Terminology to be the Returning officer and she accepted.
