CAPE Translation Bureau Local Elections: Results
October 28, 2003
Ballots were counted earlier today. 331 ballots were returned: 145 members voted for Carol Card; 183 chose Luc Gervais; 3 ballots were spoiled. Luc Gervais is thus elected President of CAPE's Translation Bureau Local (a reminder: this is not a full-time position but rather a volunteer one).
Francine Roy let us know shortly after voting kits were mailed that she was withdrawing her candidacy as Interpreters Representative. Ballots received for that position were not counted since Teresa Beauregard had therefore been acclaimed.
