TR Collective Bargaining
April 27, 2007
The TR bargaining committee continues to prepare for a first meeting with the employer which is expected some time in June. CAPE’s TR community has responded enthusiastically to the input questionnaire that it received in March. The national office is currently collating information and preparing data from over 400 questionnaires for the bargaining committee’s consideration.
Pursuant to Article 105 of the Public Service Labour Relations Act, CAPE provided notice to bargain for the TR group to Treasury Board on April 12. It was agreed that the parties would meet some time in late June.
The bargaining committee wishes to thank the over 400 members who took the time to read and respond to the input questionnaire that they received. It is only by ensuring that the proposals that are brought to the bargaining table reflect the collective priorities of the TR group that the bargaining team can feel confident that it is representing the interests of the membership.
