TRANSLATION BUREAU LOCAL
2004 ELECTIONS
September 8, 2004
In accordance with the Translation Bureau Local By-laws, the Translation Bureau Local is holding elections to fill the following five positions on its Executive: Multilingual translators’ representative, Parliamentary translators’ representative, Regional translators’ representative, Terminologists’ representative, and one Francophone translators’ representative (the position currently held by Suzanne Dumas). The term of office is two years.
Members who wish to do so may declare their candidacy for one of these positions by submitting a statement of 500 words or less by regular mail, postmarked no later than September 30, to the address below. The Local does not provide a translation of statements submitted in only one official language.
