TR Bargaining – November 6th, 7th and 8th Meetings with the Employer

At the end of the last bargaining session both parties agreed on a short list of problems which would be discussed at the next bargaining session. Prior to the November 6th, 7th and 8th meetings with the Employer, CAPE’s TR bargaining team met on the 5th to prepare its bargaining position on each of these problems.
The bargaining session was very productive. The three days were spent discussing each of the problems at length and suggesting various options which would address them. There has not been any agreement on any of the options put forward by each party, but the Employer is showing some openness vis-à-vis the options still on the table, some of them quite innovative.
The parties are meeting again on December 4th, 5th and 6th; January 29th, 30th and 31st; February 12th, 13th and 14th and March 18th, 19th and 20th.
