TRANSLATION BUREAU LOCAL – 2007 ELECTION

October 15, 2007

Following last September’s call, I have received four candidacies:

- President: Claude Poirier
- Officer representing Anglophone translators: Ellen Garmaise
- Officer representing interpreters: Paule Antonelli
- Officer representing EC members: no candidate
- Officer representing Francophone translators: André Picotte

Claude Poirier, Ellen Garmaise, Paule Antonelli and André Picotte are thus acclaimed. The new Executive Council, as per the Translation Bureau’s local By-laws, will have to fill the vacant position.
