Association Ratifies New Collective Agreement at the
Library of Parliament

On March 6, CAPE members at the Library of Parliament voted in favour of the ratification of the new collective agreement. The new provisions will be effective as of the date of signing the collective agreement probably some time in March. In accordance with the Parliamentary Employment and Staff Relations Act, the Employer has 90 days after the date of signing of the collective agreement to provide pay checks for the pay adjustments retroactive to June 15, 2008.
