CAPE National Executive Appoints Ellen Garmaise TR Vice-President
June 16, 2004 At a special Executive Committee meeting held June 15th, Ellen Garmaise was appointed TR Vice-President of CAPE. Ms. Germaise, who has served as an Executive Committee member since the inception of CAPE, will occupy this position for the balance of its term (December 31, 2004). Luc Pomerleau, the previous TR Vice President and current chair of the Constitution and By-Laws Committee, was appointed by the Executive Committee to fill the Director's seat vacated by Ms. Garmaise.
Pursuant to the CAPE Constitution, the TR Vice-President's position, and the position of Executive Committee Director, are voluntary (unpaid). These positions, as well as all other Executive Committee positions, are to be filled in a general election scheduled for the fall of 2004.
