CAPE's Fall 2006 Training Schedule
Fall 2006 The following is the Fall training schedule for CAPE.
1 - The following training will be conducted at the national office, starting each day at 8:30 am.

2 - The Association is being innovative this year by organizing noon hour training sessions on the Public Service Modernization Act (PSMA) / Public Service Employment Act (PSEA). The training will be offered on five different occasions to ensure that as many Association Representatives as possible have the opportunity to attend one of the sessions.
This training will be offered from noon to 1:30 pm (1 ½ hours) on November 15, 16, 21 and 22 for Association Representatives working in the NCR and on November 28 for Association Representatives from outside the NCR.
The Association will reimburse up to 2 hours of pay on presentation of an approved leave form (see also the CAPE Protocol on Reimbursement of Member Expenses) and travel expenses (taxi, parking, etc.) to Association Representatives working in the NCR. For Association Representatives from outside the NCR, the Association will reimburse salary and expenses as per its protocol.
Training on the PSMA / PSEA for Association Representatives working in the NCR:
The training in Ottawa on November 15 (English) and 16 (French) will be conducted at the national office from noon to 1:30 pm. The training in Gatineau on November 21 (French) and 22 (English) will be conducted in the Pontiac Room of the Conference Centre, Portage IV, from noon to 1:30 pm.
Training on the PSMA / PSEA for Association Representatives working outside the NCR:
The training for Association Representatives from outside the NCR, held in conjunction with the November AGM and Local Leadership Meeting in Ottawa, will be conducted at the national office on November 28. The course will be given in English from noon to 1:30 pm and in French from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
