Potential Strike of Commissionaires at Health Canada
November 8, 2007 There is a possibility that Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) members of the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires working at Health Canada in Ottawa will be in a strike position starting Thursday morning, November 8, 2007. While the impact will be mostly felt by Health Canada employees, it is our understanding that all those who work in Tunney's Pasture could potentially be affected.
While the situation is different from the one we experienced in 2004 when members of the PSAC working in federal departments and agencies went on strike, the advice provided then is still valid. Please refer to :
