1 EC (ES and SI) Director’s Position
1 TR Director’s Position
January 21, 2005 Pursuant to the CAPE Constitution, a bargaining unit shall have one Director’s position on the CAPE National Executive for each 1,000 individuals or part thereof. Based on the current population of the bargaining units, the CAPE National Executive should currently consist of 9 EC (ES and SI) Directors, 2 TR Directors, and 1 LoP Director.
Following the most recent elections held in 2004, the CAPE National Executive is currently composed of 8 EC (ES and SI) Directors, 1 TR Director, and 1 LoP Director. As such, the Association is issuing a call for expression of interest in the 1 vacant EC Director’s position, and the 1 vacant TR Director’s position. These positions may be filled by a Regular or Pending Member of the corresponding bargaining unit.
Interested individuals are asked to notify the National Office, in writing, no later than 4:30 p.m. on February 15, 2005. You may also do so by e-mail, at: dmartin@acep-cape.ca. Volunteers are asked to submit a brief biographical document along with their expression of interest.
Submissions will be reviewed by the current members of the National Executive, and the positions will be filled by nomination and approval of the National Executive Committee.
